Provides an assessment of recent strategies used by the United States to implement its foreign policy in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Perspectives

I think it is a timely analysis of USA foreign policy in Latin America and the Caribbean. It also provides an opportunity for developing states such as those in the Caribbean to use the USA renewed interest in its backyard as leverage in their foreign policy negotiations.
