Who Reads Science Fiction and Fantasy, and How Do They Feel About Science? Preliminary Findings From an Online Survey

What is it about?

Our analysis of the demographics and attitudes of science fiction audiences suggests that they are more avid readers than most, and are highly educated. We found that men and women were equally represented in our survey, in contrast to past surveys that indicate a significant male bias. We also found that reading science fiction and fantasy from a young age appears to sustain beneficial life-long reading habits.
