What is it about?
School reviews in Bahrain act as quality assurance mechanisms that are based on peer observation, in accordance with a published and transparent framework and criteria. Professional peers’ reviewers visit the schools to provide insight on overall performance. Schools’ operations are evaluated with the students’ interest at the heart of the process. This paper provides insight into the governmental schooling system in Bahrain based on the results of two cycles of quality reviews.
