What is it about?

This article provides an autobiographical account of problems I have had around my name. Drawing on a series of vignettes, I describe positive and negative personal experiences which have occurred regarding my name. In the second half of the paper, I consider what this adds to the field of onomastics (the study of names) including the quality and impact of my contribution.
