What is it about?

hroughout this research I have tried to answer the following questions: What does paid/commodified child care mean for child minders and work relations; what features are transferred to paid care work from familial relations and what are their impacts; and how does the job to be performed in a private sphere influence the nature of the work? This study is based on in-depth interviews conducted with 19 child minders in the capital city of Turkey, Ankara.
