We demonstrated that using a a rapid point-of-care test more coeliac disease patients can be diagnosed in primary care.

Why is it important?
This rapid point-of-care test has the same diagnostic accuracy or even more than the standard serology for coeliac disease diagnosis. In addition a good cost-efectiveness is demonstrated.
Perspectives
Coeliac disease is underdiagnosed. Then diagnostic tools that are easy to use are beneficial for the disease detection
