Why is it important?

After have shown in a previous paper that SRT scores were good predictors of survival in middle-aged and older men and women, there was a clear need to provide well-controlled and valid reference data that will permit the interpretation of SRT scores from 18 to 85 years of age

Perspectives

We believe that SRT is a simple (non-equipment required), valid, safe and clinically relevant assessment tool. This paper in providing reference data will allow a broader use of SRT in several different settings.
