What is it about?

Why is it important?

Perspective space is a model that overarches many other models proposed for distance and size perception.

Perspectives

Human viewers possess two interpretations of the geometry of their visual environment. The cognitive interpretation is virtually identical to physical space. The visual interpretation is a perspective transformation of physical space. Why the two interpretations are different is yet unknown. The current model describes the geometry of visual space.
