What is it about?

Our study looks at how travel consumers (divided by US geographic regions) reacted to the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. We found that consumers’ planned travel to the Gulf region after the spill, their risk perceptions of environmental risk, and their assessment of BPs credibility varied as a function of where the consumers lived.
