Infection prevention and control (IPC)policies are a vital element in ensuring the safest and best-evidence based practice within health and social care organisations. This paper reflects contemporary literature around reviewing, revising and development of organisational IPC policies that fit well with both the organisation while protecting, patients, staff and the public.
