What is it about?

Resilience is much discussed; in this article I have tried to relate it to my personal experience and my core belief that those who professionally care for others need to know first how to look after themselves and each other as well as work in safe, sound and supportive settings.

Why is it important?

As morale and wellbeing have plummeted in many public sector service professions - including the NHS, there has never been a more a more important time to discuss and address the fundamental natural laws that apply to all human beings if they are to thrive and flourish in their work to the benefit of those they serve
