What is it about?
Fracture dislocation of the PIP joint of the finger (the middle joint) is not uncommon. The end of the finger usually goes backwards, such that it lies "on top of" the base of the finger. We described an adaptation of a surgical technique to treat the rare reverse pattern fracture dislocation.
