Why is it important?

By going back to the roots of our ideas about memory, we can avoid mistakes that we may have made over time, and consider what new research and translations have to offer the way we understand the concept and daily practice of memory.

Perspectives

Plato's work is incredibly valuable to our understanding of memory. Research conducted while exploring this topic, also led to findings about the winged chariot metaphor of The Phaedrus published in Classica Cracoviensia.
