Method to derive retro-reflectance of retro-reflective materials using heat balance theory

What is it about?

A new method to measure retro-reflectance of the retro-reflective materials was proposed using thermal balance in the outdoor environment and optical analysis in the laboratory by our work.

Why is it important?

Retro-reflectance is not only meaured by optical analysis, but also can be derived with consideration of thermal balance in the outdoor environment. The accuracy of retro-reflectance measured by previous optical analysis can be verified through the result measured by thermal balance in the outdoor environment.
