What is it about?

The history of conflict between past co-leaders can influence the current executive leadership duo. If the new duo takes responsibility for solving this past conflict, they will trust each other. Trust underpins successful executive duos. However, these duos are fragile and trust needs regular attention. While this research comes from the arts, it also applies in other professional organizations. Understanding the history of how past conflict in co-leader relationships provides easier challenges for new executive co-leaders to solve. If members of a board of directors, then it still exists for the executive leaders. If the co-leaders retained the conflict between them, it is easier to solve for the new leaders.
