What is it about?

In this article, we provide an update based on the 2016 CCS guidelines and highlight key evidence supporting these recommendations. A number of changes relevant to pharmacists who provide care to this population of patients are reviewed in detail in this article. Based on the clinical evidence and these guidelines pharmacists are encouraged to practice to the full scope of their practice possible in each jurisdiction, in order to take an active role in the management of patients with dyslipidemia.
