What is it about?
This is a personal reflection based on my experience in a pastoral counseling situation. The case reflects my struggle with helping my client. It it raises questions about transference/ counter transference and boundaries. this situation is applicable to chaplains and pastoral counselors.

From a theological perspective it reflects the meaning of "Blessing" as described in Myron Madden's 1970 "The Power to Bless." Both the need for blessing as a part of healing our brokeness and who has the authority to bless?
