Why is it important?

It addresses the struggles of ministering to a terminally ill person. It focuses on the emotional struggles of ministering to the terminaly ill.

Perspectives

As a young chaplain intern I expected ministering to a terminally ill patient to follow the then popular 5 stage theory of Dr. Elizabeth Kubler Ross. I was not prepared for the personal toll it would take on me.
