What is it about?

Preskill and Brookfield present a model for learning as way of leading. We have used this model to connect it to the achievements of Indiana women leaders. The model matches well to the stories and lived experiences of the Indiana Women of Achievement Awardees.

Why is it important?

The model of learning as a way of leading can be applicable to the leaders in communities who may not otherwise be seen a traditional leaders. They lead from the side, front, and behind as servant leaders or collaborative leaders. This model helps see the more nuanced leadership qualities.
