Why is it important?

Carol Agee's commitment to teaching humanities to students was key to the orchestra program's success. As Agee said, we should teach humanities so we can be "more human."

Perspectives

I met Carol Agee as only the third orchestra director at Fort Collins High School since he started the program after WWII. His support of me and my immediate predecessor (Steve McNeal) was immensely important. I hope others can read this article and find inspiration through Agee's example and writings.
