Why is it important?

WIth the increased number of first-generation students attending college, it is important to better understand what programs and policies help them succeed.

Perspectives

The findings were surprising, because only a narrow range of policies and practices help this population of students based on this study. I hope this leads to additional research to further explore related topics.
