What is it about?

This article discusses current issues related to neoliberalism and inequities within the schooling system (primary, secondary, tertiary) of Hong Kong and neighboring regions in Greater China. Issues of political economy, policy, gender, race, ethnicity, class, curriculum, assessment, and pedagogy are addressed, including issues of mainland Chinese authoritarianism and Han Chinese hegemony. Implications for students, teachers, and activists are discussed.
