What is it about?

This is a review article of Alan Thomas' 'Republic of Equals'. The book excellently sets out to synthesize republicanism and Justice as Fairness. However, the article argue that Thomas' critique of market socialism is unconvincing and that Property-Owning Democracy threatens to lapse back into familiar forms of capitalism in the long term.
