We can ascribe 'meaningless nonsense' to particular views independent of our own ideological precommitments. The article proposes a distinct brand of conceptual analysis that arises from the interpretation of political argument that gives us a neutral way of making such ascriptions. This brand can be elaborated into a general approach to political theory.
