What is it about?
We discuss the impact of methane on diesel autoignition, and how relative amounts of methane and diesel maybe used as a lever to control combustion, performance and emissions in dual fuel engines.

Why is it important?
We explore the link between lack of combustion stability and efficiency and propose ideas to retain high combustion stability and high efficiencies while still maintaining low engine-out nitrogen oxide emissions. In addition, we explore pathways to reduce engine-out hydrocarbon and carbon monoxide emissions in dual fuel engines.
