We describe the process of how to design a surveillance system in an urban area of a low and middle-income country to collect periodical data on demographic and health

Perspectives

A milestone has been achieved in order to achieve a higher health status for the community. This paper is dedicated to HDSS respondents who have been willing to share their information constantly to describe the health condition of the whole society.
