What is it about?
Many immigrants and refugees that came to Europe in the last decades risk spending their old age in relative poverty. They do not qualify for full social security in many cases and their labor market integration has been fairlow low, meaning a low amount of labor market pension income. We analyse how the risk of poverty depends on several background factors.

Why is it important?
For quite many years old age was no longer correlated with poverty. The situation among immigrants and refugees coming from low and middle income countries is a threat to this welfare gain.
Perspectives
My own opinion is that the analysis should be a wake up call for politicians with engagement in avoiding a new povery risk in European societies
