Why is it important?

The article shows alternative ways to imagine futures and create solutions in refugee crisis. It offers longitudinal perspective to the problem and therefore also demonstrates the limits and constraints of these actions. This insight is relevant particularly now as Europe is going through significant challenge in refugee crisis.

Perspectives

This research has been significant for understanding the scope of refugee crisis and the various dimensions of it. As an ethnographic work it has demonstrated the inter-connectedness of local politics, media publicity, economy and hospitality. To me it revealed the relevance of 'politics of place' and how that shapes understanding of ones role in the global world.
