What is it about?

It is often assumed that sexual fluidity has the ability to challenge sexual binaries. However, this assumption is rarely tested. In this paper, I show that the potential for sexual fluidity to challenge sexual binaries is attenuated by institutional processes.

There has a lot of academic and non-academic debate about the significance of breaking binaries down. However, there is not enough research on how to do this and how to evaluate it. This paper provides a way to look at this issue through the lens of immigration.
