What is it about?

Many services and products come with a green label and become what I call a "sustainability object". This paper describes how a waste management company has constructed food-waste based biogas into a sustainability object.

Companies market many servives and products as "sustainable". It is important to understand how they do that.

Perspectives

The paper invites to reflect on how the different products that are attached labels such as green or environment-friendly shape our understanding of sustainability.
