Why is it important?

Because of language barriers it is difficult for those who do not speak Portuguese to follow what is being produced in the health arena in Brazil. Thus, presenting a comprehensive view through the lenses of researchers working in this field might help to create communication channels leading to joint research an theoretical interchanges.

Perspectives

Having worked in the health arena for many years this project - of a special number of an important journal on Health Psychology in Brazil - was very challenging as well as very rewarding, creating an intense and creative dialogue between researchers and professionals that I admire.
