What is it about?

We evaluated a free teledermatology service made available to Waikato general practitioners after one year of use. The GPs found it useful; they obtained rapid advice which helped more than 300 patients and their own professional development.

A simple, inexpensive web-based system can make a big difference to GPs ability to manage dermatology patients

Perspectives

The review showed the service was worth keeping. We have now evaluated more than 1000 cases.
