This paper presents a measure to explore how people stand in judgement of the health of others, link health to productivity and success and view health as individually determined. This thinking is called 'healthism'.

Perspectives
This paper reflects the extent to which we were willing to go to understand the future teachers we work with and how their ideologies might impact those young people they will be working with. It gives us a chance to explore and challenge these ideologies and establish if we as academics, make a difference.
