What is it about?

Why is it important?

Several researches have dealt with the culture of work and specially, with the culture of work under capitalism. This article is interesting because it opens a new vein addressing informality and questioning some beliefs about informal workers' motivations and ways of doing.

Perspectives

This article shows in deep how culture and identity are involved in our everyday work, being it formal or informal. Plus, the ethnographic approach this article takes helps very much in this exploration.
