Why is it important?
Pressure pulsations are one of the most important issues in big compressor plants, as well as in the refrigerating compressors installations, due to the vibrations and noise they cause. The reduction of the pulsation by application of specially shaped elements as nozzles are very convenient especially with the variable speed compressors.
Perspectives
The main source of this paper comes directly from the natural gas mines and pumping stations, where I did several expertises introducing elements for pressure pulsations attenuations. The methods I applied and worked up by myslef allowed to complete the tasks with success in several gas pumping stations in Poland.
