Management of Nonunited Talar Fractures With Avascular Necrosis by Resection of Necrotic Bone, Bone Grafting, and Fusion With an Intramedullary Nail

What is it about?

Non union of a talar fracture when associated with an extensive avascular necrosis of the talar dome is a challenging entity to treat. This paper described a method of treating this under reported entity with resection of necrotic bone, autograft and fixation with an intramedullary nail.
