What is it about?
There are many ways to stabilize Chevron osteotomies. This method allows for a maximal shift of the metatarsal head while allowing maintenance of the shift in a stable and permanent fashion.

This technique, when combined with an Akin osteotomy of the proximal phalanx allows for a significant and lasting correction of hallux valgus, with minimal complications and good reproducibility
