What is it about?
Using infused albumin to compete for protein bound poisons receptor sites in competitive protein binding drugs & poisons. Adding pH modification as well as needed may help to enhance the protein-bound poison interaction.This was a serendipitous event in our ER and may hopefully lead to more studies and a potential therapy for protein bound poisonings & overdosed.
