What is it about?

Mucormycosis is an invasive fungal disease with a greater than 50% mortality rate. There are few therapeutic option. Diagnosis is difficult based on traditional imaging studies and cultures. We have reviewed the diagnosis, pathogenesis and medication related treatment of invasive mucormycosis.
