Why is it important?

To gain an understanding of what are the factors that influence family quality of life (FQOL) of parents/caregivers of children with disability. To gain an understanding of measurement tools used to measure FQOL To guide practice, policy and future research in the area of Early Intervention and family outcomes such as FQOL

Perspectives

This scoping review is a collection of 18 studies that highlight the importance of understanding the factors that influence FOOL of families who have a child with disability. The paper explains the process of conducting a scoping review and presents the reader with two detailed scoping tables that detail the 18 studies, their country of origin, authors, the methods used for conducting the studies, and the results. It will be valuable for researchers in the field of family centered practice, FQOL, parent occupations and for practitioners working in early intervention.
