What is it about?

Virtuality, the distance between team members, is one of several conditions that may have an impact on team effectiveness. Other factors potentially influencing team effectiveness include: differences in skills among team members, differences in power/status among team members, and differences in time. All of these conditions individually and together may influence team outcomes. We suggest that researchers and managers consider all four conditions when studying team effectiveness or trying to improve team effectiveness.
