Connecting with Nontraditional Learners in Higher Education

What is it about?

Nontraditional adult learners are a big portion of the higher education learners and yet, many institutions do not provide services to meet their needs. This article shares thoughts about how universities and colleges may better meet the unique needs of these learners.

Why is it important?

If adult learners are not well-served by traditional higher education organizations, they will seek out places that meet their needs. Unfortunately many of the for-profit universities will take advantage of them and not serve them well.
