This review is about the status of Bt cotton in India, moreover the comparative analysis of pre and post Bt cotton era in India. The paper comprises many important aspects of biotechnology, contribution of Bt in Indian agricultural economy.

Why is it important?
It's important because of it's focus on less explored area, the socio-economical aspect. How the cotton producer is affected by concept and practice of Bt. It also provides useful data on input uses, labour, yield, losses etc. Researcher can also take out some of thirst areas in cotton research.
Perspectives
While working on a project on cotton, my professor advised me to read this book and give my views. Personally, I like the basic idea of this book. Authors put lots of efforts in compiling this, that's appreciable. This book is useful for both newbies and agriculture researchers. I enjoyed reading and reviewing this book.
