Perspectives

"The catalyst for this project was that a ‘successful’ team at a profitable multinational mobile phone company appeared to have an unusual design methodology (as compared to knowledge management or educational psychology literature). The research objective was to capture and contrast the community of practice methods with knowledge management and educational psychology theories synthesized during the literature review. Action research, reflection-in-action and nominal group techniques were applied with focus group workshops and interviews to gather the data." (p. 48)
