What is it about?

The performance of nurses has become vital in hospitals. Some studies have suggested that nurses’ perceptions of the ethical climate in their hospitals are related to higher job satisfaction and organizational commitment and in turn lessen the issue of nursing shortage. This study examines the effects of ethical climate types on nurses overall job satisfaction and their commitment in the hospitals of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Nursing turn over will be a crucial problem in the hospitals of Bosnia and Herzegovina. We tried to find some remedies for the hospital administrators to decrease this potential problem.

Perspectives

There is a scarcity of literature about the influence of ethical climate types on nurses behaviors in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This paper tries to fill a gap in the literature.
