Why is it important?
Many patients with SLE are treated with beta blockers ususally due to hypetension or sinus tachycardia. However safety and efficacy of such treatment is not assessed comprehensively.
Perspectives
Our study suggest that beta blockers should not be first line drug therapy of hypertension or sinus tachycardia in SLE patients. However it should be confirmed in future studies.
