What is it about?
Airflow control for Oscillating Water Column-based wave power plants by regulating a throttle valve to regulate the airflow in the capture chamber. The controller governing the throttle valve is tuned using the Water Cycle Algorithm (WCA).

Why is it important?
Conventional tuning methods are hard and time consuming and sometimes require a good knowledge of the system and an exact model. In this context, the optimization algorithms are suitble for tuning and offer better results as shown in the results of the paper.
Perspectives
Further investigation and implementation can be interesting.
