Why is it important?
We are facing an epidemic of syphilis. It is important that clinicians think about T.pallidum infection when they see lesions in patients HIV- infected and non HIV- infected, because syphilis can mimic any kind of lesions and symptoms.
Perspectives
I hope our article can help clinicians in making syphilis diagnosis earlier to avoid future complications.
