In this paper we have designed an efficient controller for F-16 aircraft using combination of two powerful techniques: Linear Quadratic Regulator (LQR) and Eigenstructure Assignment (EA).

Why is it important?

This paper provides a clear and step-by-step algorithm for creating a robust and efficient controller which generates our desired eigenvalues and eigenvectors accurately.

Perspectives

Using the proposed algorithm, we are able to design an effective control system more quickly and simply than when using other techniques since it leads to a closed-form solution.
