What is it about?

The knowledge of the behavior of the brake force on railway compositions is important to analyze its dynamic. This paper brings two models to simulate flow behavior inside the brake system of railway trains, resulting in its pressure and velocity along the time.

Why is it important?

We present two models for the brake pipeline and the application for each model, focussing on the fastest solver to be implemented in simulators for real-time simulation.

Perspectives

I hope this paper can clearly explain the models proposed and explain that each model is recommended for one different purpose.
